Shrewsbury to beat Northampton –

Shrewsbury maintained their remarkable promotion push with a win at Scunthorpe on Saturday, and should do the same against Northampton.

League One’s second-placed side have won their last five away matches, conceding just three goals and scoring nine.

Northampton have taken just one point from their last four home games, scoring only once.

Fleetwood to win or draw v Rochdale –

Fleetwood have halted a run of eight straight defeats with three consecutive draws since appointing John Sheridan as manager last month, and their recovery can continue at Rochdale.

The hosts have failed to win any of their last six home league matches, only overcoming Millwall at Spotland since the end of November.

They missed several good chances in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with AFC Wimbledon, but will find it difficult to create more against a side that kept a clean sheet at Charlton at the weekend.

Forest Green to win or draw v Crewe –

Consecutive defeats to Notts County and Accrington Stanley should not harm Forest Green’s chances at Crewe.

Mark Cooper’s side are undefeated in their last five matches against teams outside League Two’s automatic promotion places, and were within nine minutes of a draw at league leaders Accrington on Saturday.

Crewe have only won one of their last five home games, and two of their last 11 overall.

Dunfermline to beat Brechin –

Brechin have failed to win a single league game this season, picking up just four draws from 27 matches.

And having lost their last three home games, they have little hope of containing Dunfermline on Tuesday.

The visitors won this fixture 3-0 in September, and have conceded the second-fewest number of goals away from home in the Scottish Championship.

Dundee United to beat Queen of the South –

Dundee United won away at Queen of the South last Tuesday, so should have no problem repeating the trick on home soil this week.

Csaba Laszlo’s side have won four of their last six home games, and also won this same fixture back in August.

The visitors have lost their last two matches, and three of their last five away games.
