Brentford’s performance levels have dropped below their usual standard in their last three matches – each of them defeats.

They had, however, won eight in a row prior to that sequence and, coming into this only a goal down, have an opportunity to make amends for Sunday’s loss in Swansea.

The Algerian has taken 13 shots in his last four games without scoring, while he averages more shots than any other player in the Championship (3.8 per game).

He has netted 17 goals already this season and, if he maintains his attacking threat, the law of averages suggests that he can’t be far away from his 18^th.

Swansea have drawn one blank in their last eight, so both sides are capable of doing their bit.
