Portsmouth to beat AFC Wimbledon

Portsmouth were unbeaten in the league prior to last weekend’s surprise defeat at home to Gillingham and have won five of their six away games this season.

Pompey remain top of League One and will be boosted by the early return of six-goal Ronan Curtis from international duty after his omission from Republic of Ireland’s final squad.

I’m very happy to back them at odds against, given that Wimbledon have lost four out of six at the Cherry Red Records Stadium.

Doncaster to beat Rochdale

Doncaster should get back to winning ways after back-to-back league defeats.

Grant McCann’s side had won four straight games and were on a seven-game unbeaten run prior to those two losses, while they also beat Grimsby 2-0 in the EFL Trophy in midweek.

Rochdale have lost four of their six league games at Spotland this season, with each of those defeats coming against top-six sides.

MK Dons to beat Cambridge

Cambridge’s miserable season continued with a 2-0 defeat at Crawley last weekend, leaving them second-bottom of the League Two table.

The U’s have picked up just one point in their last six matches and are without a win in five at the Abbey Stadium.

MK Dons have won back-to-back matches to nil and their only defeat of the season came against top-of-the-league Lincoln.

Exeter to beat Swindon

Exeter’s 2-2 draw with Yeovil last weekend extended their unbeaten run to eight matches in all competitions and kept them second in League Two.

Back at St James’ Park, where the Grecians have won four straight games, they are a great price to win.

Swindon are on a three-match winless run and have managed just two victories in their last nine league games.

Lincoln to beat Port Vale

Port Vale were beaten 2-0 by Grimsby – one of the worst-performing side in the League Two shot data – last weekend and have lost back-to-back matches.

Neil Aspin’s side have managed just two victories in their last nine league games and will struggle against the league leaders.

Lincoln have won seven of their last nine league matches and have the best travelling record in the division, having won four and drawn one of their six away games.
