Draw –

Both of these sides finished with four victories from their final six league games and were separated by just five points in the regular season.

Given that Scunthorpe drew eight of their final 15 matches, it would be no surprise to see this one stay level going into the second leg.

Ivan Toney to score anytime –

Toney has been a revelation since swapping his loan deal from Wigan to Scunthorpe, netting eight times in his last 13 appearances.

The forward has scored in important games against Plymouth, Charlton, Wigan and Peterborough in that run, and can score another crucial goal at Glanford Park.

Michael Smith to score anytime –

With eight goals in his last 18 appearances, Smith might not immediately jump out as the most obvious goalscorer for the visitors.

But the 6ft 3in striker will be the Millers’ main threat from set pieces and high balls into the box, so is worth a punt.

Under 3.5 cards

There have been four cards or fewer in each of Scunthorpe’s last six matches, while Rotherham have tipped the balance in just two of their last 11.

This meeting shouldn’t be especially bad tempered, with both sides trying to stay in the tie ahead of the return fixture.
