Brentford to beat Burton –

This is a generous price, given Burton’s diabolical home record.

Nigel Clough’s side have lost 11 of their last 13 matches at the Pirelli Stadium, with the two exceptions being 0-0 draws against bottom-half opposition.

Brentford have scored 14 goals in their last seven away games against bottom-half teams, and won each of their last three.

Cardiff to beat Barnsley –

Cardiff’s victory over Bristol City last time out was their fourth consecutive league win to nil at home.

Neil Warnock’s side have won six of their last eight league matches, and should maintain their four-point cushion in the Championship automatic positions by beating Barnsley.

The Tykes have taken just one point from their last three away games against top-half sides, while their hosts’ mean defence should take care of in-from forward Oli McBurnie.

Fulham to beat Sheffield United –

Fulham are in irresistible form, and have to be backed at a price not far short of evens.

Slavisa Jokanovic’s side have their last eight home league matches, scoring 20 goals and conceding two. Not bad.

Sheffield United have lost three of their last four away games, and have not kept a clean sheet in 13 league matches on the road. That won’t be good enough against Aleksandar Mitrovic, Ryan Sessegnon et al.

Aston Villa to beat Sunderland –

Sunderland have taken three points from their last seven matches, and things are unlikely to improve on Tuesday.

Chris Coleman’s side have drawn their last two, but were lucky to escape Millwall with a point on Saturday after a second-half battering.

Aston Villa have won four of their last five away games and eight out of 11 overall. They should be clinical enough to make their inevitable pressure count.

Accrington Stanley to beat Morecambe –

Accrington have won six consecutive home matches, and are a fantastic bet to continue that run against Morecambe.

John Coleman’s hosts are up to second in League Two, with striker Kayden Jackson scoring in each of their last three matches at the Wham Stadium.

The visitors secured a shock win at Wycombe in their last match, but had taken five points from their 10 previous away games and remain in trouble at the bottom of the table.
