Denmark to beat Romania –

An impressive away victory at Montenegro kept Denmark on course to bag at least a play-off spot in Group E.

That was their fourth win on the spin and sixth without defeat.

Romania beat Kazakhstan on Thursday, but have lost three consecutive away games and can no longer qualify.

England to beat Lithuania –

Although England looked unconvincing in their victory over Slovenia, they should have enough to round off their campaign with another three points.

That win was their seventh in nine group games and 20th World Cup qualifier without defeat.

Lithuania have lost six of their last seven and were held to a 1-1 draw in Malta last time out.

Scotland to beat Slovenia –

Scotland’s 1-0 win over Slovakia lifted them into a play-off spot with just one game to go.

Gordon Strachan’s side have now won three on the spin and are unbeaten in six.

Slovenia have lost three out of five and defeat to England ended any realistic hopes of qualification.

Germany (-2) to beat Azerbaijan –

Germany secured their spot in Russia with an impressive away win at Northern Ireland on Thursday, but it’s at home where they have been untouchable.

Joachim Low’s side have won seven World Cup qualifiers on the bounce in Germany, keeping clean sheets in their last six and winning all but one by a margin of three goals or more.

Azerbaijan are in poor form and have lost five out of six in Group C, only avoiding defeat against San Marino.
