Argentina to beat Nigeria –

Argentina weren’t at their best in World Cup qualifying, but have improved of late.

Jorge Sampaoli’s side beat Russia 1-0 on Saturday and have now won four matches in a seven-game unbeaten run.

Nigeria were held to a 1-1 draw against Algeria at the weekend and have beaten only Zambia and Luxembourg in their last 12 on the road.

Iceland to beat Qatar –

Qatar were beaten 1-0 by Czech Republic at the weekend and have now lost four of their last five matches overall and five of their last eight against European sides.

Iceland also lost to Czech Republic last time out, but have won six out of eight. They are a safe pick.

Netherlands to beat Romania –

A goal from Memphis Depay gave Netherlands their seventh victory in eight as they beat Scotland at Pittodrie last week.

They have won four out of six on the road, only losing to France and Bulgaria.

Romania recorded an impressive win at home to Turkey last time out, but have won just four matches in 11.

At odds-against, they are a decent bet to lose to the Dutch.

Uruguay to beat Austria –

Austria rounded off a disappointing qualifying campaign with a 1-0 victory over Moldova last time out, as they finished fourth in Group D.

That was only their third win in 11 matches – a run that included defeats to Wales, Ireland and Serbia.

Uruguay drew 0-0 with Poland on Friday, but did manage to extend their unbeaten run to five matches.

They represent the best value of the evening.

Brazil to beat England –

Brazil eased their way to a 3-1 win over Japan on Friday – their 10th victory in 13 matches.

They have also lost just twice in their last 25.

England have failed to win any of their last four friendlies, losing two and drawing two.

Gareth Southgate’s young Lions are unlikely to put up much resistance on Tuesday.
