Ecuador to beat Peru –

Yes, Peru have won four on the bounce, but bear with me.

All of those victories came at home, whereas Ricardo Gareca’s side have managed just three wins from 14 on the road.

So Ecuador, who have won five out of seven at home, look good for the three points.

USA to beat Honduras –

USA were beaten by Costa Rica on Saturday, but should still win this match.

That was a first defeat in 15 for Bruce Arena’s side, who had won their previous five in a row.

They also spanked Honduras 6-0 in the return fixture, so this should be fairly simple.

Argentina (-1) to beat Venezuela –

Argentina’s qualifying campaign has not gone to plan so far, but they should get back on track here.

Jorge Sampaoli’s side have won 14 of their last 21 in all competitions, including three qualifiers out of four on home turf.

Rock-bottom Venezuela, meanwhile, are winless in eight away from home, while each of their last five defeats on the road have come by more than a single goal.

Paraguay to beat Uruguay –

Uruguay are in a sorry state, having lost five and drawn one of their last six games.

That run has taken them to within one point of dropping out of an automatic qualification spot.

Paraguay, meanwhile, beat Chile at the weekend and could climb to fourth with a victory.

Panama to beat Trinidad and Tobago –

After losing to Honduras on Saturday, Trinidad and Tobago’s hopes of making it to the World Cup are in tatters.

That defeat was their fifth on the spin, while they have not managed to win a game in seven.

Given that Panama are unbeaten in six and come into the match after back-to-back victories, they look a safe shout.
