Republic of Ireland v Denmark

media

No first half goals –

It has been 0-0 at half time in three of Republic of Ireland’s last four matches, including Saturday’s stalemate with Denmark.

Under 1.5 goals –

Martin O’Neill’s careful approach to recent matches will not change, so this one is unlikely to end more than 1-0 either way.

James McClean to be booked -

Having received six yellow cards in his last 11 games for club and country, McClean is always a decent bet to be booked.

England v Brazil

media

Brazil to score over 1.5 goals –

Brazil have scored at least twice in eight of their last 10 away matches, and have not failed to score against England in the two sides’ last 10 meetings, a run dating back to March 1990.

Marcus Rashford to score -

Rashford will start up front after being rested for the game against Germany, and should have plenty of space to run into on the counter-attack.

Harry Maguire to be booked -

Brazil’s attacking line-up is on another level even to Germany’s, so Maguire is a solid bet to be booked in his attempts to deal with it.

Antoine Griezmann to score –

Griezmann has three goals in his last five matches for France, including one in Friday’s win over Wales.
