#BetYourWay: 9 value tips for Friday's international football
Kick off a profitable weekend with a variety of different picks, and three tailor-made selections.
This season, several matches will be valid for our #BetYourWay promotion, where customers can request custom-built bets for individual games.
Here are our selections for Friday's action.
Sweden v Italy
Sweden to win -
Sweden have won their last four home matches, including against France.
Italy have not impressed under Gian Piero Ventura, losing to Spain and drawing at home to Macedonia in their last four outings.
Marcus Berg to score -
Berg has scored in three of Sweden’s last four matches, including four in October’s 8-0 win over Luxembourg.
Under 1.5 Sweden cards
Sweden have received no more than one card in their last 10 matches, and received just 12 in 10 qualification games.
England v Germany
Over 3.5 goals -
England have scored at least twice against Germany, France (twice) and Spain in the last two years, and – despite several injuries – have the players to hurt Germany on the counter-attack.
The visitors have scored 14 goals in their last seven away matches, including three at Northern Ireland – who had previously kept five consecutive competitive clean sheets – in their last away game.
Jamie Vardy to score -
Vardy tends to trouble the best teams. He scored brilliantly away in Germany in March 2016, before winning a penalty and scoring against Spain at Wembley 12 months ago.
Gary Cahill to be booked
Cahill has been struggling for form at Chelsea, so is a good bet for a booking considering the pressure England are likely come under.
France v Wales
France (-1) -
Wales’ squad is under-strength and surely demotivated after last month’s defeat to Republic of Ireland, so France should take advantage.
Antoine Griezmann to score -
Griezmann has scored four goals in his last eight France appearances, and should extend that run against a side that have conceded 10 goals in their last five friendlies.
Joe Allen to be booked -
Allen has received a yellow card in three of his last six appearances, including in Wales’ last match against Ireland.
