Austria to beat Georgia –

Georgia’s dreadful form should see this one come in.

They have only won one of their last 13 away matches and picked up just four points in Group D.

They were also beaten at home by Austria and, although Marcel Koller’s side have been out of sorts in qualifying, it’s hard to look beyond a similar outcome this time.

Albania to beat Macedonia –

Albania have held their own in Group G and still have a shot at qualification despite being joined by both Spain and Italy.

Christian Panucci’s side lost against both of those heavyweights, but beat Liechtenstein at the weekend to record their fourth win in seven.

They should notch a fifth against a Macedonia, who have lost seven competitive home matches on the bounce.

Italy (-1) to beat Israel –

Putting their weekend defeat to Spain aside, Italy have been in excellent form.

That was their first loss in 11, but the Azzurri had won five in a row before that and scored 16 goals in their previous three.

An Israel side that has lost three out of four and were beaten 3-1 in the return fixture shouldn’t stand a chance.

Wales to beat Moldova –

Wales’ weekend victory over Austria ended a run of five consecutive draws in qualifying and gave them renewed hope of making it to Russia.

Chris Coleman’s side remain unbeaten in Group D and are now just two points behind second-placed Ireland.

Moldova, who have picked up just two points in seven and are winless in their last 17 competitive matches, should be a gimme.

Croatia to beat Turkey –

Despite a poor performance in a narrow 1-0 win against Kosovo last weekend, Group I leaders Croatia are worth backing.

They have won five of their last six qualifiers and just need six more points to secure at least a play-off spot.

An off-colour Turkey side, that were beaten 2-0 by Ukraine in their previous match and have won just three out of seven, are unlikely to stand in their way.
