France to beat Netherlands –

France have lost just one of their last 11 at the Stade de France, and have also won 12 of their last 15 home World Cup qualifiers.

They should coast past a misfiring Netherlands side that has achieved just two competitive wins in five.

Belarus to beat Luxembourg –

Luxembourg are one of just seven European sides for whom World Cup qualification is already impossible.

The minnows have been beaten in eight of their last nine at home and managed just one competitive victory in 18.

Belarus, who have won two out of three and are playing to keep their own qualification hopes alive, are a safe bet.

Germany to beat Czech Republic –

Germany have cruised through qualifying with six wins from six.

Joachim Low’s side are unbeaten in 11 following their Confederations Cup victory and have also won 12 of their last 13 qualifiers.

Another three points on Friday looks a guarantee against a Czech Republic team have won only two of six matches this campaign and were spanked 3-0 in the reverse fixture.

Poland to beat Denmark –

Poland have walked Group E up to this point, winning five and drawing one of their six games so far.

They have already beaten Denmark at home and have lost just one qualifier in 16, against world champions Germany.

The Danes, meanwhile, have lost two and drawn three of their last seven and won just three of their last 11 competitive matches.

Scotland to beat Lithuania –

Despite starting slowly, Scotland’s hopes of making the World Cup are not dead yet.

Gordon Strachan’s side have taken four points from their last two matches, including an impressive draw against group leaders England.

Lithuania, on the other hand, have lost four on the bounce and could be eliminated from qualifying with a defeat.
