Wales v Republic of Ireland –

Ireland need to win to move leapfrog Wales into second place in Group D, so they should push forward and make this an exciting game.

It’s safe to assume that they’ll score, given that they’ve done so in each of their last five away games.

Wales have netted in each of their last seven home matches, so a clean sheet for either team is unlikely.

Ukraine v Croatia –

Ukraine have scored in seven of their nine qualifiers so far and are yet to fail to score at home.

They should find the net again when they host Croatia, who conceded against Iceland and Turkey in their last two away games.

Ante Cacic’s side have also notched in all but two of their nine qualifying games, including seven in four away from home, and will be pushing for a win here with a chance of topping the group.

Finland v Turkey –

Finland aren’t a great side but they haven’t been bad at home in qualifying, scoring against Kosovo, Ukraine and Iceland.

They also managed an away goal in a 1-1 draw with Croatia last time out, and now face a Turkey side that are yet to keep a clean sheet away from home.

Mircea Lucescu’s side did win 2-0 when these sides met in Turkey in March, though, and have only been kept out by Iceland and Ukraine in this qualifying campaign.

Serbia v Georgia –

Serbia have been prolific in qualifying, having scored in every game so far, including nine in four at home.

They’ve also kept just one clean sheet on home turf so far, and that was in a 3-0 win over lowly Moldova.

So, expect plenty of goals when Slavoljub Muslin’s side meet Georgia, who have both scored and conceded in each of their last three away games.
