England v Germany

Even with Harry Kane and about 15 other players missing through injury, England should score against Germany on Friday night.

Gareth Southgate’s side have netted in each of their last 17 games at Wembley – a run that dates back to September 2014.

Germany haven’t kept a clean sheet in their last four games away from home, conceding against Azerbaijan, Denmark, Czech Republic and Northern Ireland.

The world champions should also find the net, having done so in each of their last 13 games, four of which were away from home.

Belgium v Mexico

Belgium have bagged 28 goals in their last six home games, netting four or more on four separate occasions.

They should put a few past a Mexico side that have kept one clean sheet in six on their travels.

The Red Devils are also leaky at the back, keeping just three clean sheets in eight this year and conceding three against both Bosnia and Russia.

Mexico have scored in each of their last seven away matches – including twice against Portugal and once against Germany – and should do so again on Friday night.

Sweden v Italy

Sweden have notched 20 goals in their last four home games, putting six past Slovakia and two past France.

Their 2-0 defeat to Netherlands last time out while protecting a seven-goal advantage in qualifying is the only time in their last 15 games in which they have failed to register.

Janne Anderson’s side have only managed to keep out Belarus and Luxembourg in their last seven games, and should concede against an Italy side that have scored in 16 of their last 17 away matches.

The Azzurri have also conceded in five of their last seven on the road, so goals look likely at both ends.

Poland v Uruguay

Poland have been prolific since the Euros, scoring in all six of their home games and netting three or more on four occasions.

They’ve also only managed one clean sheet at the National Stadium in Warsaw, and that was against a Kazakhstan side that finished bottom of their qualification group.

It’s hard to see them keeping out a Uruguay side that features both Luis Suarez and Edinson Cavani.

La Celeste have scored in five of their last seven away matches, and kept just one clean sheet.
