England v Brazil –

England’s game with Germany finished goalless, but there was enough action to suggest that a repeat against Brazil is unlikely.

Gareth Southgate’s patched-up side created several chances, and were unlucky to not score for the first time at Wembley since November 2013.

Brazil should do their bit. They scored and conceded against Japan on Friday and have scored 23 goals in their last 10 away matches.

Romania v Netherlands –

Romania have scored in their last four home matches, including three against Chile in June and two against Turkey on Thursday.

Another home goal is likely against a Netherlands side that have kept only one clean sheet in their last seven away games, conceding to Luxembourg, Morocco and Belarus in the process.

The Dutch, who have improved under Dick Advocaat, have only failed to score once – away to France – in their last nine matches.

Germany v France -

Expect Germany to bounce back from their scoreless draw by putting a few past France on home soil.

The world champions have scored in each of their last eight home games, and have found the net 11 times in their last two games on their own patch.

They should also concede against a France side that have netted in six of their last seven away games.

Les Bleus have registered in seven of their last eight matches overall, with a 0-0 draw at home to Luxembourg their only blank in that run.

Belgium v Japan -

Belgium are unstoppable at home, having scored 16 goals in their last three matches, including three against Mexico last time out.

They’ll surely register against Japan, who have only managed to stop UAE scoring in their last four games on the road.

Japan have scored six goals in their last three games, and netted against Brazil last time out.

Vahid Halilhodzic’s side were kept out by Saudi Arabia in their last away game. They did, however, score in 16 successive games away from home prior to that – a run that dates back to November 2013.
