Czech Republic to win or draw v Australia (12:00) –

Czech Republic haven’t played since their 4-1 demolition of China in March, but they should at least avoid defeat on Friday.

That was the Czech’s fifth victory in six matches and they have lost just four of their last 15.

Australia were unconvincing in qualifying for the World Cup, labouring past Syria and Honduras in the play-offs, and have won just three of their last 12 games.

Georgia to beat Malta (18:00) –

Georgia ended the last international break with back-to-back home victories to nil over Lithuania and Estonia.

The hosts have won three of their last four matches on home turf and lost just one of their last eight.

Malta have lost 19 and drawn three of their last 23 away games, scoring just four goals in the process.

Tunisia to win or draw v Turkey (19:15) –

Tunisia stepped up their impressive World Cup preparation with a 2-2 draw against Portugal on Monday.

Their unbeaten run now stands at eight matches, with five victories and three draws.

Turkey won 2-1 against Iran last time out, but that was only their second victory in seven matches.

France to beat Italy (20:00) –

France looked impressive as they beat Ireland 2-0 on Monday, making amends for their 3-2 defeat at home to Colombia at the end of the previous international break.

Didier Deschamps’ side have won 20 of their last 24 home games, including victories over England and the Netherlands in their last eight.

Italy have lost three of their last five on the road, including defeats to Spain and Argentina, and needed an 87th-minute penalty to draw with England in their last away game.

Colombia to beat Egypt (20:15) –

Egypt are without a win since qualifying for the World Cup with a 2-1 victory over Congo four games ago.

They lost back-to-back games against Portugal and Greece in the last international break and, without Mohamed Salah, could only draw with Kuwait last time out.

Colombia have won two of their last three matches, including a 3-2 victory over France in March, and represent decent value here.
