Belgium to win to nil v Scotland

Scotland have won just one of their last six matches.

Alex McLeish’s side have lost four of their last five matches to nil and, without the injured Oliver McBurnie, it is difficult to see where the goals will come from.

Belgium’s 2-0 win over England in the World Cup third-place play-off was their 20th victory in their last 26 matches and 12th clean sheet in the same period.

Faroe Islands to beat Malta

Faroe Islands are unbeaten in four matches at home, having won games against Andorra and Liechtenstein and drawn twice against Latvia.

They should extend that sequence against Malta, who have lost 20 of their last 24 away games and scored just five goals in that time.

Italy to beat Poland

Italy’s home form has remained impressive, despite their failure to qualify for the World Cup.

The Azzuri have won six of their last nine matches and are unbeaten in 11 at home, despite playing Spain, Germany and the Netherlands.

Poland lost two of their three matches at the World Cup. Their only victories in their last nine matches came against South Korea, Lithuania and Japan.

Serbia to beat Lithuania

Lithuania ended the previous international break with a 4-0 defeat away to Poland in June, meaning they have now lost 11 of their last 14 matches.

They have managed just one victory in that sequence and only avoided defeat against Latvia, Armenia and Malta.

Serbia didn’t have a great World Cup, but they had won four of their previous six competitive fixtures heading into the tournament. They also lost just one of their 10 qualifiers in qualifying for the tournament.

Turkey to beat Russia

Russia won just two matches inside 90 minutes at the World Cup came against Saudi Arabia and Egypt.

They are the only two victories for Stanislav Cherchesov’s side in their last 12 matches, while they have won just one of their last seven games outside Russia.

Turkey are unbeaten in five matches and have won six of their last eight home games.
