Scotland to win to nil

Scotland have only lost to England, Germany and Holland in 18 home games since October 2013.

They’ve kept a clean sheet in each of their last three wins at Hampden Park, and should do the same against Costa Rica, who have lost three successive matches and failed to score in each one.

Oli McBurnie to score

McBurnie has been called up to the Scotland squad for the first time, and should make his debut on Friday with Jason Cummings the only other striker available.

The 21-year-old has scored six goals in just nine games since joining Barnsley on loan from Swansea, and is Scotland’s best bet to find the net.

Over 4.5 Scotland corners

Scotland won six corners in their last game against Holland and eight in the previous home game against Slovakia.

Expect them to win plenty more on this occasion, given that Costa Rica conceded six against Hungary last time out and 10 against Spain before that.
