Here are four football tips that Jack Green thinks you should consider for England v Belgium on Sunday evening.

Over 2.5 total goals

England have been prolific at Wembley over the past couple of years. They’ve scored a combined total of 29 goals in their last seven matches at the national stadium, netting at least twice in each of those games.

Belgium have bagged two or more goals in all 16 of their competitive matches since the 2018 World Cup, and conceded to Switzerland, Russia, Cyprus and Iceland during that run.

England to score first

England have opened the scoring in six of their last seven matches, with a 0-0 draw against Denmark in September the only exception.

Belgium conceded opening goals against both Cyprus and Iceland in their last four matches, both of which came inside 15 minutes, so they are prone to a slow start.

Harry Kane to score

Kane looks the likeliest scorer for either side on Sunday night, having found the net eight times in his last seven matches for Tottenham.

The England captain has netted 10 times in his last eight international starts, scoring in six consecutive games in 2019.

Under 9.5 corners

This bet would have landed in seven of England’s last nine matches, including their win over Wales on Thursday night.

There have been under 10 corners in four of Belgium’s last six games, and in Thursday’s draw with the Ivory Coast neither side earned a single corner. media
