For the new season, all televised Premier League matches will be valid for our BetYourWay promotion, where customers can request tailor-made bets for individual games.

Here are our selections for this weekend's matches.

Malta v England - Friday (ITV1, 19.45)

media

England to score 3 or more goals –

England may have only put two past Malta last year, but that was the exception rather than the rule.

Expect the Three Lions to win far more comfortably this time around against the team ranked 190th in the world.

Half-time/full-time: England/England –

By the same token, there is no choice but to back total England dominance.

Gareth Southgate’s side will take a first-half lead and cruise to victory.

Dele Alli to score

Alli only has two England goals, but one of them came against Malta at Wembley last October.

In a game in which his side should score plenty, he is likely to add to that tally.

Georgia v Republic of Ireland - Saturday (Sky Sports Football, 17.00)

media

Under 2.5 goals –

Nothing about this fixture screams excitement.

The last two meetings between these sides – both during the last two years – have featured just one goal, and something similar should be on the cards here.

First half draw –

The last three times these sides have met, they have been drawing at half-time.

Ireland’s quality should eventually shine through, but it would be no surprise were they to take longer than hoped to make the breakthrough.

Jon Walters to score

Walters has three goals in his last two outings for Ireland.

If this game is won as narrowly as we expect, Walters’ international form could see him make the difference.

Wales v Austria - Saturday (Sky Sports Football, 19.45)

media

Draw –

Wales have drawn five qualifiers in a row since winning their opening game.

Need we say more?

Both teams to score –

Both teams have brilliant individual quality that should see them create plenty of chances.

That, and the fact that the sides drew 2-2 last October, suggests that there should be goals at both ends.

Sam Vokes to score

Vokes has made an encouraging start to the season with Burnley.

With a much better supply line than the one he gets at Burnley, he is a fine bet to grab a goal.
