Here are Guy Giles' football tips for Portugal v Netherlands on Sunday night.

Portugal to win 

Portugal were imperious in their semi-final win over Switzerland, and they should be backed to win the inaugural Nations League trophy.

The Netherlands were impressive in their victory over England, but home advantage, an extra day’s rest and an in-form Cristiano Ronaldo are likely to see Portugal triumph in Porto.

Both semi-finals ended 3-1 and there is no reason this will not also be a high-scoring encounter.

The combination of the Netherlands’ relentless attacking pressure and Portugal’s effectiveness on the counter should see this mark reached.

Cristiano Ronaldo to score 

The Portugal star tore Switzerland apart as he netted a brilliant semi-final hat-trick on Wednesday.

Ronaldo is a player who relishes big games, and Sunday is unlikely to be any different.
