Here are Jack Green's football tips for Portugal v Switzerland on Wednesday night.

Portugal to win

Portugal have only lost one of the 15 matches they have played since May 2018, and they should see off Switzerland to reach the final on home soil.

The Swiss are coming off back-to-back away wins over Georgia and Iceland, but lost three previous three away from home against Sweden, England and Belgium.

Under 2.5 goals

Portugal haven’t scored more than one goal in any of their last five home matches, and their last four matches overall have produced a combined total of just four goals.

Switzerland failed to score in two of their last five away games and will likely struggle against the stingy Portuguese defence.

Joao Felix to score

Felix has been called up to the Portugal squad after a fantastic season and could be pushed straight into the team to replace Dyego Sousa, who has only scored once in his last 14 matches for club and country.

The 19-year-old scored eight goals in his last eight appearances of the campaign for Benfica, and has netted four in seven for Portugal’s under-21s.

Over 1.5 Switzerland cards

Switzerland have picked up two cards or more in three of their last four competitive games.

Portugal seem to have a knack of getting their opponents booked, with the opposition being shown at least three yellows in three of their last four matches.
