Wales to win

Wales have won three of their last four matches in which Gareth Bale has featured and lost just one in 10 since Euro 2016, with that defeat coming against Uruguay in March.

The Real Madrid forward will start this match, meaning Ryan Giggs’ side should have too much for Scotland, who have lost three of their last four matches.

Gareth Bale to score

Bale is in form, having scored nine goals in his last eight competitive appearances for Real Madrid.

He has also bagged 11 goals in his last 17 games for Wales, so is an obvious pick to find the net for his country again.

Under 2.5 goals

He’s unlikely to score a hatful, though, given that the last three meetings between these two sides have produced just one goal.

There have been more than two goals in just one of Wales’ last 13 matches, while Ireland have exceeded that amount just twice in their last 10 games.

Over 4.5 cards

The last two meetings between these sides have produced 10 yellows and one red card.

Expect something similar in this one.
