There have been 16 penalties awarded in the 30 Women’s World Cup games so far, including one in both of England’s games.

Don’t be surprised to see another in Nice on Wednesday.

Nikita Parris to score

Parris is on penalty duty for the Lionesses. She scored one in the opener against Scotland and had one saved against Argentina on Friday.

She also finished second in the WSL Golden Boot rankings last season, netting 19 times for Manchester City.

England and Japan have accumulated just five yellow cards between them in their four respective group games.
