Atlanta United to beat Chicago Fire (23:00)

Current MLS Cup champions Atlanta United romped to a 3-0 victory over Minnesota on Thursday and look to be over their tough start to the season.

Frank de Boer’s side have won six of their last eight league games, including their last four at home, after taking just two points from their opening four matches.

Chicago are one of just three sides in the MLS who are yet to win on the road this season and have picked up just three points from their seven away games.

DC United to beat San Jose Earthquakes (01:00)

Eastern Conference leaders DC United came within a stoppage-time goal of victory in their 3-3 draw at home to Chicago Fire on Thursday.

The Black and Red have dropped just two points in their last three matches at Audi Field and have only lost to in-form sides New York City and Los Angeles FC in eight home games this season.

San Jose’s 2-1 victory at Toronto on Monday was only their first win on the road in six games this season.

Houston Dynamo to beat Sporting KC (01:30)

Houston have the third-best home record in the MLS this season, having dropped just four points in eight games, and are one of just three teams yet to lose on their own patch.

The Dynamo beat Eastern Conference leaders DC United 2-1 in their last match at the BBVA Compass Stadium and are an enticing price to continue their impressive home form.

KC are winless after five away games this season and, following a 2-0 defeat at home to LA Galaxy on Thursday, have managed just one victory in their last nine league matches.

Portland Timbers to beat Los Angeles FC (03:30)

This is a bold tip, but I can’t ignore a home team at such a long price.

The Timbers play their first game of the season at a renovated Providence Park this weekend, having had 12 straight matches on the road, and have won four of their last six games in the MLS.

They beat a strong Philadelphia Union side, who are second in the Eastern Conference, 3-1 last Sunday and can earn another victory against the Western Conference leaders.

Los Angeles have won just one of their last four matches away from home, beating out-of-form Columbus 3-0 three weeks ago.
