Everton v Burnley

Having kept Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool at bay away from home this season, a trip to Everton is small fry for Burnley.

Sean Dyche’s side defended resolutely in those three matches, and will be posed even less of a challenge by a side with no renowned striker.

Oumar Niasse could start after his successful introduction off the bench against Bournemouth last week, but their failure to replace Romelu Lukaku could prove the difference between the Toffees’ breaking down the likes of Burnley and not.

Atalanta v Juventus

Juventus’ 100 per cent winning record continued in Serie A last weekend, but their failure to score until the second half of Wednesday’s Champions League game against Olympiakos suggests that they are still not in top form.

The Italian champions have conceded six goals in their three away matches this season, so should be wary of Atalanta’s home record.

Gian Piero Gasperini’s side have scored 10 goals in their last three matches at the succinctly-named Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia, and drew this fixture 2-2 last season.

Hertha Berlin v Bayern Munich

After throwing away a two-goal lead against Wolfsburg last weekend, Bayern Munich’s faltering start to the season continued at PSG on Wednesday, resulting in the sacking of Carlo Ancelotti.

Having made a managerial change amid reports of dissatisfaction in the camp, it is fair to say that the German champions travel to Berlin at a relatively low ebb.

Hertha have beaten Bayer Leverkusen and drawn with Hoffenheim so far this season and are primed to take advantage, having lost just three of their last 14 home matches.

Heerenveen v Ajax

Ajax, by their standards, have made a bad start to the Eredivisie, failing to win three of their six league matches so far, including both of their last two.

Defeat at home to Vitesse Arnhem in their last match was of particular concern, and opens up the possibility of a positive result for Heerenveen here.

The second-placed hosts have won all of their last four matches, including home victory over PSV.

Back them not to lose this one at .
