Liverpool not to beat Southampton –

A convincing victory over Huddersfield does not atone for Liverpool’s multiple slip-ups at Anfield over the last 12 months, and this game has the makings of another.

Southampton produced one of their best performances of the season against Manchester United in September, and have only lost on one of their last five trips to the red side of Merseyside.

Ex-Saint Sadio Mane may miss the game with injury, and will certainly not be at 100 per cent if he does feature.

Norwich not to beat Barnsley –

After a passable start to the season, Norwich’s form has capitulated over the last few weeks.

Five consecutive home matches without a victory – including failure to beat struggling Burton and Hull – have left the Canaries in mid-table, and their fortunes will not necessarily improve against Barnsley.

The visitors have won their last two games and have not lost any of their last three away matches.

Getafe not to beat Alaves –

Alaves’ dire start to the season renders them underdogs for Saturday’s trip to Malaga, but their recent improvement means that they can upset the odds.

After losing their first six matches, Alaves have won three of their subsequent six, including at Saturday’s opponents, Getafe, in the Copa Del Rey.

The hosts have only won one of their last six matches, and blew a 2-0 lead at Real Betis last time out.

Napoli not to beat Milan –

Napoli’s brilliant football has lit up Serie A so far this season, but their recent stutter opens the door for Milan on Saturday.

Maurizio Sarri’s side have won just two of their last six matches, with the injury to left-back Faouzi Ghoulam harming their style of play.

Milan have not lost any of their last three away matches, and can trouble the faltering leaders.
