Sheffield United to beat Brighton

Sheffield United kept up their European challenge with a 2-1 victory over Bournemouth at Bramall Lane last time out.

That was the Blades’ third straight win in all competitions, while they’ve only lost one of their last 17 league games that wasn’t against either Manchester City or Liverpool.

Brighton have the third-worst away record in the Premier League, having taken nine points from 13 games, and have lost seven of their last 10.

Birmingham to beat Sheffield Wednesday

No Championship team has picked up fewer points than Sheffield Wednesday’s five over the last 10 league games.

Garry Monk’s side have lost seven matches in that period, including a 1-0 defeat at bottom-of-the-league Luton in their most-recent away game.

Birmingham are unbeaten in 10 in all competitions and, although they’ll be without on-loan striker Scott Hogan, represent great value.

Gillingham to beat Lincoln

Gillingham beat Southend 1-0 on Tuesday to extend their unbeaten run to 14 league games – the longest in the EFL.

Steve Evans’ side have won four of their last five to move to within four points of the play-offs.

Lincoln lost 4-3 to Accrington last weekend and have earned just one point from their last six league games.

MK Dons to beat Bolton

MK Dons are playing themselves out of trouble at Stadium MK, winning  six of their last seven matches there.

That run has opened up a 10-point gap to the relegation zone, and they look a good bet to extend that on Saturday.

Bolton have lost 13 of their 16 away games in all competitions this season, including seven of their last eight.

Sunderland to beat Bristol Rovers

Fifth-placed Sunderland’s 1-0 victory over Oxford last weekend was their eighth in their last 11 league games.

Included in that sequence are four wins from five at the Stadium of Light, while Phil Parkinson’s side have kept clean sheets in seven of their last eight league matches.

Bristol Rovers are on a seven-match winless run away from home stretching back to mid-December, failing to score in five of those games.
