Southampton v Everton

Southampton to win or draw –

Everton are winless away from home in the Premier League, and have lost six of their last eight on their travels in all competitions.

A four-point haul from Southampton’s last three home league games suggests they will get a result on Sunday.

Both teams to score –

Everton haven’t kept a clean sheet away from home in 10, and have conceded two or more goals in eight successive matches.

They’ve been better going forward under David Unsworth, however, and should score against a dodgy Southampton defence that have kept just one clean sheet in seven.

Ashley Williams to be carded

The Welshman has been booked in four of his last six starts in all competitions.

Huddersfield v Manchester City

Under 1.5 first-half goals –

City have scored a ridiculous number of goals this season, but most of them have come in the second half, as teams look to frustrate Pep Guardiola’s side early on.

Their last three games have been 1-0, 1-0 and 0-0 at half time, and a similar scoreline should be expected after 45 minutes at the John Smith’s.

Manchester City (-1) –

Even if Huddersfield keep it tight early on, there will be no stopping this formidable City side.

They’ve beaten Arsenal, Napoli and Leicester by two goals in their last four games, and should eventually put a few past the Terriers, who were thumped 4-0 by Spurs at home earlier this season.

Leroy Sane to score –

Sane is almost guaranteed to start after being rested for the visit of Feyenoord in midweek.

The German is due a goal, having set up three but scored none of his own in his past three appearances.
