Big decisions:

I’ve taken my first four-point hit of the season in order to freshen up my back line for the Christmas period.

Rob Elliot’s benching by Rafa Benitez left me without a starting goalkeeper, so in comes the similarly inexpensive Wayne Hennessey ahead of a decent run of games for Crystal Palace.

Protecting the Welshman will be new arrivals Shkodran Mustafi and Alberto Moreno.

Arsenal have only conceded one league goal all season when Mustafi has played, while Moreno has quietly become a consistent fantasy points scorer and is a snip at just £4.6m.

I’m unchanged elsewhere, with Harry Kane once again captaining the side.

Team: Another New Dawn

Big decisions:

A stellar 65-point gameweek has given me a new lease of life, and I’ve elected to build while I’m strong.

Chelsea have a tantalising run of fixtures coming up, so Thibaut Courtois is my new goalkeeper, and Alvaro Morata replaces the frustrating Gabriel Jesus.

To afford them both, I’ve taken a four-point hit and brought in Richarlison, but the long-term gains should make it worth it.

If all goes to plan, Eden Hazard will replace Kevin de Bruyne next week.

Shane Duffy will replace Phil Jones, assuming the latter misses out on Saturday with injury.

Team: Pascal Vegan

Big decisions:

I’ve brought in Alvaro Morata, as Chelsea have some generous-looking fixtures over the next few weeks.

That meant taking out either Harry Kane or Romelu Lukaku, both of whom have been below their best in recent weeks.

I plumped for Kane, simply because he’s more expensive. I also expect Lukaku to be back in the goals soon enough.

With Chelsea at home to a Newcastle side that have conceded nine goals in their last three games, it makes sense to give Morata the captain’s armband.

In defence, Alberto Moreno comes in for Ben Davies.

The Welshman is back to being a rotation player now Danny Rose is back fit, while the absence of key players means Spurs are not as solid in defence as before.

Big decisions:

I’ve made moves in the transfer market with two big-name signings.

As promised, Romelu Lukaku is out on his ear after a run of one goal in seven.

Yes, Paul Pogba’s back, and I’m sure the Belgian will pick up again soon, but I’ve seen enough botched one-on-ones to recognise a striker who is simply not doing the business.

In his place, I’m trying to get ahead of the curve for once by signing Alvaro Morata.

Chelsea's seven games between now and the end of the year are all against teams that are 10th or lower, so they should start banging them in soon enough.

I just hope it isn’t Eden Hazard who scores them, seeing as I’ve plumped for Mohamed Salah over him as my latest midfield reinforcement.

A bit late to the party, I know, but his form is that good it would be silly not to get him in as soon as possible.
