After four weeks of putting my faith in Wayne Hennessey and Rob Elliot, I’ve swallowed my pride and brought in a goalkeeper who will actually play this weekend.

Only two keepers have racked up more points than Lukasz Fabianski this season, and he’s an absolute bargain at £4.6m.

With Swansea playing Everton and Burnley in their next two games, he’ll see me through to Wildcard season.

I’m otherwise unchanged, although I don't feel great about my chances, given that Harry Kane is away at Manchester City and Richarlison is nursing a knock.

Big decisions:

A 70-point haul in midweek means that, for the first time in a long time, I am happy with my team.

Romelu Lukaku once again captains the side, after repaying the faith I showed in him last time out.

Lukaku took his goal well against Bournemouth on Wednesday, while he has scored against former club West Brom three times in the last two seasons.

My only transfer is to exchange one promising English striker for another, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin replacing Tammy Abraham.

Not only is Calvert-Lewin currently Everton’s first-choice striker, his arrival means another £500k is added to my transfer kitty.

Big decisions:

That my lads are top of the office league table for December says all you need to know about the month I’m having.

The challenge now is to maintain that momentum throughout a busy Christmas period until my second Wildcard becomes available.

If I’m honest, I don’t love the look of my team this weekend, but am holding fire on the transfer front as there’s nobody who I desperately want who I can easily bring in.

Alvaro Morata gets the armband, having been given a rest against Huddersfield, with Harry Kane unlikely to bag a hatful at the Etihad.

Five of my back six kept clean sheets in midweek, so I’m hoping for a couple more, though I’m relying on Richarlison to shake off a niggle and Raheem Sterling to rediscover his scoring touch for a few midfield points.

Fingers crossed I can keep moving in the right direction.

Big decisions:

Even though he got me 10 points in midweek, Ben Foster is my next player on the chopping block.

I don’t trust West Brom not to concede loads against Manchester United.

Ben Mee and Kiko Femenia should be fit and available this weekend, so both keep their places.

Romelu Lukaku’s goal against Bournemouth has earned the Belgian another chance, although I’d still like him to do a bit more.

I’m taking the captaincy off Harry Kane for the weekend and giving it to Eden Hazard.

Southampton were spanked at home to Leicester in midweek, so I fancy Chelsea to win handsomely.

Tottenham have got their most difficult fixture of the season on Saturday and it’d be unfair to expect too much from Kane.
