Reece James

James registered his first assist of the season against West Ham last week and more should be on their way soon.

The wing-back ranks second for xAssists of all Premier League defenders so far this season, only behind Leeds’ Pascal Struijk.

He also ranked highest for actual assists per 90 minutes of all defenders last term.

Fulham have conceded the 13th-most goals so far this season, but only one team has a worse xG against record.

Alexis Mac Allister

Mac Allister scored twice in Brighton’s 5-2 win over Leicester this weekend, and was denied a sensational third by a tight VAR call.

He is Brighton’s top scorer in terms of both goals and xG so far this season.

Albion’s penalty-taker has managed 1.8 shots per game so far this season and takes on a leaky defence on Saturday.

Even in beating Nottingham Forest last week, Bournemouth conceded twice. They have shipped 18 goals overall this term, the most in the league.

Erling Haaland

It may be early days, but Haaland looks set to break all sorts of Premier League records this season.

The striker has netted an incredible10 goals in six league games, and his underlying numbers prove that it is no fluke.

He has registered a phenomenal 8.2 in xG so far, with the next best (Aleksandar Mitrovic) down on 4.39.

Tottenham have been solid defensively so far but will struggle to cope with this goalscoring machine.
