Big decisions:
I’ve decided it’s worth playing the free hit this weekend and trying to take advantage of the teams that hold fire.
Liverpool are obviously the likeliest scorers of the sides playing, so I’ve thrown in their three most dangerous players and captained Mo Salah.
I fancy Palace, Everton and Bournemouth to all win this weekend, so I’ve stocked up on their players, with Everton’s full-back duo of Leighton Baines and Seamus Coleman a good bet for a double clean sheet.
Manager: Tom Clee
Team: The Cleegulls
Big decisions:
The calibre of teams playing this weekend means I’m not too fussed about only fielding half a side.
I’m pleased I’ve got the maximum quota of Liverpool players, with Mo Salah getting the armband over Roberto Firmino.
Christopher Schindler also has a decent chance of keeping a second consecutive clean sheet at home to Crystal Palace.
My only change is to replace Marko Arnautovic with Xherdan Shaqiri, who is always involved when Stoke score goals.
As for my other sub, I’ll let it roll over into a double next week to help me get used to life without Harry Kane.
Manager: Will Rook
Team: Sheffield Old Boys
Big decisions:
Like many other Fantasy managers, I’m trying to negate the reduced fixture list by playing my free hit.
Bournemouth and Huddersfield both have a decent chance of keeping clean sheets at home, so that’s where I’m looking for my back three and goalkeeper.
I’m using my complement of Liverpool players by bringing in their three first-choice attackers, with Mo Salah getting the armband.
Up front, Cenk Tosun gets the call after netting two goals in his last two appearances.
Manager: Adam Drury
Team name: Another New Dawn
Big decisions:
I’ve rolled the dice and played my free hit. I need to do something if my season is not to end in mid-table mediocrity, and I think this is the best option.
With Wilfried Zaha back in the Crystal Palace side, I fancy both he and Christian Benteke to be back in the points at Huddersfield.
They are supplemented by Junior Stanislas and Josh King, who take on West Brom.
Three of my back four include players involved in Stoke v Everton, which hints at the way I see that game going, though I’ve included Xherdan Shaqiri as the most likely match-winner.
Mo Salah captains the team for Liverpool’s game with Watford, and is joined by Virgil van Dijk and Roberto Firmino.
Manager: Tom Bowles
Team: Pascal Vegan
Big decisions:
I, too, am taking a free hit.
Liverpool’s big three are in, with Mo Salah getting the armband. He’s due a performance after being pocketed by Ashley Young last weekend.
The rest of the side is made up of players from the various mid-table clubs in action. Wilfried Zaha and Christian Benteke are obvious picks, while Stoke’s defensive improvement under Paul Lambert has got Jack Butland and Kurt Zouma the nod.
Bournemouth should return to winning ways against West Brom, so in come Nathan Ake, Charlie Daniel and Josh King.
Enjoy your day in the sun, chaps.
