Big decisions:

Like many managers, my main focus this week has been on deciding who should replace Harry Kane.

Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang came close to getting the call-up, but his place in a couple of my rivals’ teams means I’ve decided to look elsewhere.

Instead, in comes Romelu Lukaku, who’s probably the safest bet to get a goal against Swansea at Old Trafford.

I’m looking good up front but my back line is still a mess, so I’ve taken a four-point hit to bring in Nacho Monreal.

Arsenal look a decent bet for a clean sheet against Stoke, and the Spaniard’s also chipped in with a few goals this season.

Big decisions:

With Kane out injured, I've got money to burn, and so I've decided to invest in a couple of Arsenal's big names.

Yes, they can be a bit flaky when the going gets tough, but consecutive home games against two of the bottom three looks a perfect chance for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Henrikh Mkhitaryan to foster some goodwill at their new club.

Such is my faith, I'm giving Aubameyang the armband.

It feels a bit of a risk to take it off Mo Salah, but it's a big ask to produce another big performance in the early kick-off straight after an international break.

Hopefully the extra 24 hours afforded to the Gunners by the fixture list will make all the difference.

In what appears to be a popular move, I have replaced Harry Kane with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as chief striker and captain.

The striker has scored in every match that isn’t against Tottenham and Manchester City since his January move, and has some nice fixtures coming up.

Though I’m not ruling out a decent week for the three Spurs lads away at Chelsea, they are really in because of a good run of matches that follow their trip to Stamford Bridge.

The run in starts here, and I look well set.

With just one transfer to use this week, I’ve been left sweating on the fitness of Sergio Aguero.

The striker sat out of both of Argentina’s friendlies over the international break and, without him or Harry Kane, my front three looks a little limp.

Roberto Firmino comes in to replace Kane, in a move that has likely been replicated in a large proportion of FPL teams across the country.

Elsewhere, I fancy Burnley’s chances of keeping a clean sheet against a hopeless West Brom side and, after his 58-point haul last time out, Mohamed Salah takes the armband.

Who replaces Harry Kane? I’ve plumped for Romelu Lukaku.

The striker has scored four in his last five matches for Manchester United, and has notched six in his last seven at Old Trafford.

The Belgian, who also netted twice for his country in midweek, gets the armband with United at home to Swansea.

Marko Arnautovic scored three times in two Austria appearances during the international break, and I fancy him to find the net in West Ham’s game against Southampton.

I’m also hopeful of a Burnley clean sheet at West Brom.
