Big decisions:

James Tarkowski and Alvaro Morata are suspended, but I’m going to persevere with both.

Tarkowski is out for three matches, but he’s been so good this season that I reckon I’d only end up transferring him in again.

Morata, meanwhile, is only out for a match and Chelsea’s run over the Christmas period is generous.

I am making one change this week, though. Out comes perennial substitute Chancel Mbemba and in comes Arthur Masuaku.

Masuaku has been part of a West Ham defence that have kept three successive clean sheets, while his position of wing-back enables him to contribute to attacks.

Big decisions:

As with most others, Alvaro Morata’s suspension has thrown something of a spanner into the works.

In deciding not to discard with the Spaniard, my team this weekend is nearing distinct mediocrity, with the inclusion of both Ben Mee and Harry Kane a clear contradiction.

Kane keeps the armband – though I wrestled with handing it to Mohamed Salah – while, plainly, I could do with a Manchester United clean sheet at Leicester.

Big decisions:

My lads have had a couple of brushes with the law since they last took to the field, with a violent conduct charge for James Tarkowski and Alvaro Morata getting banned for impersonating his pregnant wife.

I can paper over the cracks in defence, but have no choice but to bring a big name in up front.

Romelu Lukaku looks to be creaking back into form with a couple of recent winners, so he gets a recall ahead of a kind run of fixtures over Christmas.

In order to afford him, I’ve traded in Harry Maguire – who has kept one clean sheet in his last eight games – for Angelo Ogbonna, who has kept three in a row since scoring against Manchester City.

Big decisions:

It's been a tough season for the lads, but it seems like things are finally coming good after last week's 62-point haul.

I have, however, decided to get rid of Kiko Femenia, with Angelo Ogbonna coming in to replace him.

West Ham have had a few really good results recently, and their defence has been central to that.

Romelu Lukaku responded to my criticism with two goals in two games, so he keeps his place for now.

Eden Hazard, meanwhile, remains captain after bringing in 12 points last time out.
