Big decisions:

January hasn’t been good to me, so, for the second time this season, I’ve taken a four-point hit.

I’ve decided the side means more balance, and the addition of Cesar Azpilicueta at the back should bring just that.

The Spaniard slots in alongside Chelsea team-mate Andreas Christensen, so let’s hope for a clean sheet double-whammy at Brighton.

I’ve also freshened up the midfield, having finally lost patience with Richarlison. In comes Paul Pogba, who ranks fourth among all midfielders in points per game.

To fund those upgrades I’ve had to take a major hit up top, binning Jamie Vardy and digging into the bargain bucket for Swansea’s Oliver McBurnie.

As ever, Harry Kane takes the armband.

Manager: Adam Drury

Team: Another New Dawn

Big decisions:

After last week’s 82-point haul, not too much needs modifying this weekend.

I might even have gone unchanged had Ruben Loftus-Cheek shown signs of recovery, but news that he is out for a while has prompted a substitute.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is a decent differential, and a coup at £5.7m if he can sustain his current form. His inclusion also means my team is made up entirely of players belonging to top-six sides.

I’m concerned that Sergio Aguero could do significant damage against Newcastle, but hopefully Raheem Sterling can join in the fun.

Manager: Tom Clee

Team: The Cleegulls

Big decisions:

Successive home games against Newcastle and West Brom mean I’m moving heaven and earth to get Sergio Aguero in my side.

What’s more, I’m giving him the armband in an attempt to find a point of difference.

I’m pretty happy with the rest of my team, though, so have decided that a four-point hit is preferable to wasting a wildcard or free hit.

That means having to downgrade somewhere else, with Hugo Lloris the player to make way.

My star keeper hasn’t kept as many clean sheets as I would have liked since Toby Alderweireld’s injury and, with a string of tough games against Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal to come after this weekend’s trip to Southampton, I reckon now is the time to get rid.

Adrian isn’t a bad replacement, particularly considering West Ham's next three games are all against teams below them.

Manager: Will Rook

Team: Sheffield Old Boys

Big decisions:

I had a decent week last time out, scoring 61 points, but I’m losing too much ground on the pacesetters.

Big performances are needed from my star players – I’m looking at you, Eden Hazard – or they’ll be out of the door.

I’ve still got my wildcard in the bank, which is getting more tempting with every day that passes.

Callum Wilson slots in up top after a great performance against Arsenal last time out, replacing Laurent Depoitre in my one transfer.

Harry Kane obviously retains the captaincy, as he will do for the rest of eternity.

But with my patience running thin, I’m not afraid to ring wholesale changes in the near future.

Manager: Tom Bowles

Team: Pascal Vegan

Big decisions:

For the first time in a long time, I like the look of my team. That’s what a 74-point week will do for you.

The only change I’m making is to dump Eden Hazard – who’s done nothing for me – and bring in Kevin De Bruyne.

De Bruyne has fewer points than Mohamed Salah and Raheem Sterling, but I just don’t believe that their scoring will continue at this rate (the sound logic of a manager who is almost bottom of every league he's in).

Sergio Aguero has scored 11 goals in 11 games against Newcastle, so wears the captain’s armband. I look forward to checking back in next week when Harry Kane has scored his first hat-trick of 2018.
