Big decisions:

My lead at the top of the office league is dwindling and I’m getting anxious.

The lads have had a couple of quiet weeks while others are hitting form, and, unfortunately, I’ve only got one transfer available to help turn things around.

I’ve had to burn that on replacing Rob Holding, who dropped out of the Arsenal team the instant I stuck him into my back four.

In place of the 22-year-old comes Phil Bardsley, who’s dirt cheap and will start for Burnley at Newcastle this week.

My only other big call is who to pick as captain.

After loudly rebuking Clee for even considering taking the armband off Kane a fortnight ago, I’m almost obligated to give the Spurs man the nod despite a tricky game against Manchester United.

Don’t make me eat those words, Harry.

Team: The Cleegulls

Big decisions:

Another solid showing in the previous round means it’s a week of consolidation for me.

Losing Marko Arnautovic to a hamstring problem is a bit of a blow, but his injury should at least allow me to upgrade Laurent Depoitre up front with a double sub at the weekend.

Other than him, I like the look of my team, with Shane Duffy recalled to the backline against a Southampton side that haven’t won a league game since November.

Giving Sergio Aguero the armband couldn’t have gone better last time out, so he resumes captain responsibilities at home to West Brom.

Manchester United have kept six consecutive clean sheets in all competitions so, even if they don’t keep Harry Kane completely quiet, he’s unlikely to run riot at Wembley.

Manager: Adam Drury

Team: Another New Dawn

Big decisions:

Thibaut Courtois’ injury is making me twitchy, but there’s not much point in getting rid of him if his return is imminent.

In defence, I’ve made one change.

Jan Vertonghen’s next three matches are against Manchester United, Liverpool and Arsenal, so he is replaced by John Stones, who faces West Brom and Burnley in his next two.

Raheem Sterling takes the armband in a rare stray from Harry Kane that I could well end up regretting, while I’m a little worried that Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain will lose his place in the starting XI.

Overall, though, I think I’m in good shape.

Team: Sheffield Old Boys

Big decisions:

The lads responded to my rallying cry, and threat of using the wildcard, in the previous Gameweek and brought 64 points home.

For that reason, they’re all getting another chance before the weekend.

I was particularly impressed with Eden Hazard, who was one more underwhelming performance away from the chop.

A 16-point haul later, and he’s back in the fold.

Up top, a few people seem to be handing the armband to Sergio Aguero after the Argentine netted a hat-trick last time out.

I’ve been stung too many times before, though. Kane stays.

Manager: Tom Bowles

Team: Pascal Vegan

Big decisions:

Despite recording 74 and 75 points in the last two gameweeks, a combination of injuries and suspension have forced me to play my wildcard.

Thankfully, my team looks better than ever.

Phil Bardsley, Danny Simpson and James McArthur are not glamour signings, but they are cheap first-teamers who have enabled me to have seven elite players – including fellow new addition Riyad Mahrez – in my starting 11.

And while it’s always a risk to not captain Harry Kane, Sergio Aguero’s hat-trick at home to Newcastle last time out means he deserves to wear the armband for Manchester City’s midweek visit of West Brom.
