Big decisions:

Another mediocre week has prompted more changes to my side, with a double transfer resulting in a third four-point hit of the season.

With Chelsea’s Andreas Christensen injured (again) and Jonjoe Kenny now out of favour at Everton thanks to the return of Seamus Coleman, I’ve had to bring in defensive reinforcements in the form of Phil Jones.

I fancy Manchester United to get a clean sheet at home to Huddersfield, who are terrible on their travels.

To free up funds for that move I’ve binned Fabian Delph for the slightly cheaper Tom Carroll, who doesn’t exactly rack up the points but will at least play every game for Swansea.

Harry Kane let me down when I made him captain in midweek but I’m reluctantly keeping the faith and handing him the armband against Liverpool.

He’d better deliver. My mouse has hovered over Sergio Aguero’s name on several occasions this week.

Team: The Cleegulls

Big decisions:

Jordan Ayew has been doing bits for my Draft team with four goals in seven games for the resurgent Swans, so is being brought into the senior squad ahead of a kind run of fixtures.

I was also hardly spoiled for choice when it came to affordable replacements for Marko Arnautovic, which is why I’ve decided to go a bit left field.

Ryan Fraser has already bagged a few goals this season and, with six of Bournemouth’s next eight games against teams below them in the table, I’m hoping he can pop up with a few more.

I’ve made more exciting double transfers in my time, but the new faces are at least an improvement on what I had, and leave me with £1.8m in the bank for a rainy day.

Team: Another New Dawn

Big decisions:

My team looks elite, but continues to disappoint a little.

Manchester United’s game with Huddersfield looks the likeliest source of big points to me this weekend, so I’ve cost myself four to bring Jesse Lingard into midfield.

As many as five of my front six could have been captain, but Raheem Sterling gets the nod after two more assists against West Brom on Wednesday.

In defence, I’m desperately hoping Pep Guardiola considers Burnley away to be a baptism of fire for Aymeric Laporte, and recalls John Stones after illness.

Hopefully this is the stellar weekend that this side is capable of.

Team: Sheffield Old Boys

Big decisions:

I’ve had my finger hovering over the wildcard button for a few weeks now, but I’ve finally decided to crack.

So it’s goodbye to Lukas Fabianski, Harry Maguire, Eden Hazard and Roberto Firmino.

Nick Pope replaces the Swansea goalkeeper in a similarly-priced switch, while Cesar Azpilicueta should bring in a few more points from defence than Maguire ever did.

Hazard, on reflection, was too expensive to justify and, in a cost-cutting measure, I’m bringing in Abdoulaye Doucoure.

That is largely to fund Sergio Aguero who, along with Harry Kane and Callum Wilson, will help to make up the most feared strikeforce in the office league.

Team: Pascal Vegan

Big decisions:

I’ve decided against making any transfers, as I played my wildcard in midweek, although that might change on Saturday should David Silva be ruled out through injury.

David De Gea is poised to register a fifth clean sheet in six games, while Paul Pogba and Jesse Lingard should impose themselves on Huddersfield, having failed to do so against Tottenham in midweek.

The only real decision is who wears the armband: Sergio Aguero or Harry Kane? Neither. I’m giving it to Jay Rodriguez. He scored two fine goals at Liverpool last weekend, and I fancy West Brom to win at home to Southampton.

Don’t let me down, lad.
