Here are our selections for this weekend's matches.

Burnley v Crystal Palace – Sunday (Sky Sports Premier League, 13.30)

Burnley to win –

Crystal Palace are in trouble under Frank de Boer, and a return to four at the back won’t be enough to change that.

The Dutchman’s style of play fundamentally doesn’t suit his team, and this could be his last game in charge.

Over 12.5 corners 

Burnley thrive off set pieces, and often revolve their game around winning them, with the quality of Robbie Brady's delivery.

That should be enough, considering the manner in which we expect them to dominate the game.

Chris Wood to score

Wood is in fine form.

He backed up an equaliser at Wembley a fortnight ago with a hat-trick for New Zealand, and has a great chance to add to his tally against a bad defence.

Swansea v Newcastle – Sunday (Sky Sports Premier League, 16.00)

Swansea to win –

Newcastle are in a similar predicament to Palace, despite their home win over West Ham before the break.

The discord at the club is unlikely to result in a good performance against Swansea, who will be buoyed by the signing of Renato Sanches.

Tammy Abraham to score

Abraham scored his first Premier League goal at Crystal Palace in Swansea’s last game, and another against the side who wanted to sign him this summer would come as no surprise.

Wilfried Bony will start upfront for Paul Clement’s side eventually, but Abraham has the chance to delay the inevitable on Sunday.

Man City v Liverpool – Saturday (Sky Sports Premier League, 12.30)

Both teams to score –

The Premier League’s two best attacking sides going at two questionable defences.

It wouldn’t surprise us if both sides scored two or three each.

Manchester City to win –

City are still waiting for their breakthrough victory under Pep Guardiola, to prove that they are on the right path.

With Liverpool so open defensively, then the hosts' attacking excellence should be enough to do just that. 

Kevin de Bruyne to score

De Bruyne has perhaps had a quieter start to the season than expected, but is a player who can be decisive in these big matches.

Amid all the talk of City's strikers, back the Belgian to make the first impact.

Stoke v Manchester United – Saturday (BT Sport 1,17.30)

Eric Choupo-Moting to score

The Cameroonian has made an impressive start to life at Stoke.

A goal against Manchester United could be the breakthrough Premier League moment that will inevitably come at some stage. 

Stoke to win –

The Potters’ victory over Arsenal suggests they may have rediscovered their giant-killing abilities.

United were flattered by the 4-0 scoreline at Swansea in their last away match, and could be troubled on Saturday.

Over 12.5 corners 

if United are indeed chasing the game, then their corner tally will rack up quickly.

This could be a slow-burner, but will come in eventually.

West Ham v Huddersfield – Monday (Sky Sports Premier League, 20.00)

Winning margin: 1 –

Huddersfield’s impressive start to the season suggests that there won’t be too much in this one.

Back at home, though, West Ham may be the side to pinch a narrow victory.

Under 3.5 goals –

The Terriers are yet to concede a goal this season, and will aim to frustrate their hosts on Monday evening.

West Ham, meanwhile, will tighten up after conceding three at Newcastle, which could result in a less eventful game than the type they have been involved in so far.

Michail Antonio to score

The return of Antonio could be pivotal in Slaven Bilic’s side turning their fortunes around.

He grabbed the winner in their first home league game of last season against Bournemouth, and is a good bet to make the difference in what is a big game for the hosts.
