Brighton will be looking to make it three wins from three and maintain their position at the top of the Premier League table when they welcome West Ham to the Amex Stadium on Saturday (17:30 kick-off).

The Seagulls have started off the season with back-to-back 4-1 victories, firstly putting Luton Town to the sword on the south coast, before thumping Wolves at Molineux.

Roberto De Zerbi's side sit at the Premier League summit heading into the third round of fixtures, but they will have to be wary of a West Ham side who defeated Chelsea 3-1 at the London Stadium last time out.

Brighton have only suffered one defeat from their last nine home league matches and they are unbeaten against the Hammers in the last six meetings at the Amex, making the hosts an appealing price at 1/2 to claim the spoils this weekend.

West Ham have also struggled on their travels, taking just one point from the last 15 on offer away from home, and it seems a tall order for the reigning Europa Conference League champions to return to London with a positive result.

March to continue fine scoring form

Solly March enjoyed his best scoring season in the 2022/23 campaign, notching seven times in the Premier League and he is already nearly halfway to that total after just two games this term.

The 29-year-old Englishman bagged the opener in the victory over Luton before netting the final two goals in the win at Wolves, leaving him joint-top of the Golden Boot charts with Brentford's Bryan Mbeumo.

March leads both attempts (eight) and shots on target (six) for Brighton and he looks like a strong contender to add a fourth goal to his tally on Saturday evening.

Duo to carve out opportunities

Another player who continues to thrive for Brighton is Kaoru Mitoma, who scored seven goals and registered five assists in the Premier League last season.

The Japan international has been in the thick of the action again this term, having found the back of the net once and also added two assists to his name.

With the Seagulls in red-hot form and full of confidence, 26-year-old Mitoma looks as good a shout as anyone to set up one of his teammates again.

Joining the Brighton ace in the assist chart could be West Ham midfielder James Ward-Prowse, who joined the Hammers from Southampton this summer and made an immediate impact for his new employers.

The England international was handed his debut against Chelsea last time out and he provided assists for the first two goals in that 3-1 success at the London Stadium.

Ward-Prowse's fantastic delivery from set-pieces, along with his superb eye for a pass in open play, make him a worthy candidate to grab an assist at the Amex.
