Real Madrid v Barcelona: Over 2.5 goals and Napoli, Blackburn and Luton all to win – £5 at 19/5*

Real Madrid and Barcelona cannot fail to produce at least three goals, while Napoli are back in form after two wins in the last week.

Blackburn should extend their six-match winning run in the league away at relegation-threatened Northampton, and Luton have won eight of their last 10 at home.

Torino, Crystal Palace, Derby, Bradford and Portsmouth all to win - £5 at 66/1*

Torino are a great price to win away at SPAL, whose only win since October came against Benevento, while Swansea’s struggles should continue against in-form Crystal Palace.

Derby and Bradford should beat inferior sides, and 2/1 is a great price for Portsmouth to win their eighth match in nine.

Crystal Palace and West Ham to win: £10 at 5/1*

Palace won emphatically at Leicester last weekend to record back-to-back victories and make it seven matches unbeaten.

The Eagles will presumably have too much for Swansea, whose run of nine defeats in 11 matches got Paul Clement the sack.

West Ham, meanwhile, have won two and drawn one of their last three matches, keeping three clean sheets in the process.

The Hammers should register another win against a Newcastle side that have taken just one point from nine matches in the league.

TOM CLEE

Cardiff, Preston, Wigan and Bradford all to win, MK Dons to win or draw: £5 at 31/1*

I’m feeling adventurous this week because, well, it’s Christmas.

Cardiff should breeze past a Bolton side that lost to Burton last week, while Preston ought to roll over a Forest side that have shipped more on the road than any other side.

Wigan are flying in League One, while Bradford have the division’s best away record and AFC Wimbledon the worst at home.

Finally, Rotherham have won one of their last nine in the league while MK Dons have only lost two during the same period.

West Ham, Derby and Sunderland all to win to nil: £3 at 27/1*

This one’s a real punt, but I fancy my chances.

West Ham have kept three clean sheets in a row, while Newcastle have taken one point from their last nine.

Derby have won five of their last six – all to nil – and Millwall have failed to score in eight of their 11 away games this season.

Sunderland have also kept three clean sheets in their last four.

The Black Cats can achieve a second home win in the space of a week against a Birmingham team that have earned just two points and scored only four goals on the road this season.
