Borussia Dortmund, Aston Villa, Wigan and Sevilla all to win: £5 at 14/5
Dortmund are top of the Bundesliga, so look good for victory at Augsburg on Saturday.
Aston Villa, Wigan and Sevilla all have very winnable home matches.
Leicester, Borussia Monchengladbach, Peterborough, Coventry and Atletico Madrid all to win: £5 at 23/1
I fancy Leicester to pick up now that their difficult-looking start to the season is over, while Borussia Monchengladbach are decent at home and score lots of goals.
Peterborough, Coventry and Atletico Madrid round up a nice looking five-fold.
Aston Villa to win to nil, Stevenage to win, over 2.5 goals in Chelsea v Manchester City: £10 at 7/1
Stevenage must be the best value in the entire Football League this weekend.
The promotion chasers are odds-against at home to a Port Vale side that haven’t won since the opening day of the season.
And I’m branching out with my other two legs of this treble.
Wins to nil are always a bit of a risky market but given Bolton have lost their last seven in all competitions without scoring a single goal, I reckon Villa are nailed-on to do just that.
Finally, I’m not sure which way Chelsea against Man City will go but, even without Sergio Aguero, I’m confident there will be goals.
Three or more, and we should be celebrating a healthy £80 win.
Burnley double chance: £5 at 6/5
Everton have failed to win any of the four Premier League fixtures that have followed playing in the Europa League.
Burnley’s best results this season have come away from Turf Moor, with Sean Dyche’s side taking points from Chelsea, Tottenham and Liverpool.
The Clarets are a decent price to do the same on Sunday.
Manchester United over 2.5 goals, Bournemouth-Leicester and Chelsea-Man City BTTS: £5 at 3/1
United should beat Palace comfortably, although I don’t necessarily think it’ll be an absolute spanking.
Bournemouth have scored in six of their eight games this season, while Leicester have scored seven in eight. I don’t know who’s going to take the points this weekend, but I’m confident there will be goals.
The same goes for Chelsea and Manchester City. If I was being less conservative, I’d back the champions to win. But I just can’t imagine City not getting on the scoresheet.
Watford to beat West Brom, Juventus to beat Atalanta, Roma to win or draw against AC Milan – £10 at 8/1
After drifting into the red last week, I’ve decided to ditch my conservative tactic and go slightly bigger.
Juventus are good value to beat Atalanta, who I’m hoping will suffer from a Europa League hangover after playing Lyon on Thursday night.
Likewise, AC Milan’s trip to Rijeka is hardly ideal preparation for their game against Roma, who are unbeaten this season and have won all of their away games. The Giallorossi should at least get a draw.
Finally, I fancy an away win at West Brom for Watford.
The Hornets have won three of three on their travels this season, and should bring this one home to give me some breathing space.
Dortmund, Aston Villa, Wolves and Wigan all to win: £10 at 4/1*
No messing around this week.
Dortmund have been bossing it in the Bundesliga so far this season and it’s hard to see where they’re going to drop points.
Aston Villa and Wolves both face out-of-form sides and should claim an easy three points.
And in League One, there are few better than Wigan at home.
