Bayern Munich, Fulham, Blackburn and Celtic all to win, Valencia v Real Madrid BTTS: £10 at 26/5*

Bayern Munich, Blackburn and Celtic all have home matches that they should win in their sleep, while Fulham are in good enough form to win at Barnsley.

Valencia have scored eight goals in their last three at home, while Real Madrid have only failed to score away from the Bernabeu twice this season.

TOM CLEE

Brentford, Fulham and Gillingham to win, Plymouth to win or draw: £10 at 17/1*

My new strategy of short-priced doubles fell down last week, so, like a team whose nice build-up play has ultimately led to nothing, I’m lining up a shot from range that could either fly into the top corner or sail over the stand.

Brentford have won five of their last six and haven’t lost at home in the league since the second weekend of the season.

Fulham have also won five of their last six, while Barnsley’s only victory in their last 13 league games was against Sunderland.

Gillingham are unbeaten in seven and should continue their perfect start to 2018 at home to a Fleetwood side they beat 2-0 away before Christmas.

Plymouth had gone eight unbeaten before losing to league-leaders Wigan last weekend, while Oldham are winless in eight since having to go without Eoin Doyle.

JACK GREEN

Valencia to win or draw and BTTS, Ajax to win and BTTS: £10 at 15/2*

Real Madrid are in shocking form and I can see them dropping more points against third-place Valencia, who have won nine of their last 11 at home.

Real should still score at the Mestalla, so Valencia double chance and BTTS looks a decent bet at almost 2/1.

There should also be plenty of goals when Utrecht, who have both scored and conceded in nine of their last 10 games, take on Ajax.

Given that Ajax have won five on the bounce in the league, however, this result can surely only go one way.

WILL ROOK

Gillingham to win and Plymouth and Shrewsbury double chance: £10 at 6/1*

I’m staying with what I know best this weekend: League One.

Gillingham have been transformed from relegation certainties to a solid mid-table side under Steve Lovell and, having dropped just four points in a seven-game unbeaten run, I’m backing them for another three points.

Plymouth are a great price to avoid defeat against an Oldham side that haven't won a league game in eight, while Portsmouth, who are yet to beat a top-half side at Fratton Park this season, are unlikely to win against Shrewsbury.

The road to profit starts here.

Swansea to beat Notts County: £10 at 19/20*

I’m going to use my Free Bet Club pick, as I attempt to claw myself back into the black.

Swansea beat Liverpool on Monday to make it back-to-back victories, after overcoming Wolves in their FA Cup third-round replay the previous week.

The Premier League club should make it three in a row against Notts County, who have lost their last two League Two matches, both of which were at Meadow Lane.
