Bologna v Udinese –

Udinese have scored 12 goals in four league games in December – including three at Inter – and that run should extend here.

Bologna have kept just one clean sheet at home this season, conceding in all of their nine other matches at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara.

Having only failed to score at home to Napoli and Juventus, however, they should have no problem fulfilling their side of the bargain.

Liverpool v Leicester City –

Liverpool’s exceptional run of goalscoring continued in impressive fashion over the Christmas period.

Having scored three goals at Arsenal and five against Swansea, Jurgen Klopp’s side have netted at least three times in 11 of their last 14 matches – so another goal against Leicester is a certainty.

The Foxes have conceded and scored in each of their last six away matches, while their counter-attacking style is ideal for taking advantage of Liverpool’s gung-ho approach.

Brentford v Sheffield Wednesday –

A fantastic attack is largely responsible for Brentford’s ascent up the Championship table, and they won’t slow down against Sheffield Wednesday.

Dean Smith’s side have scored at least twice in five of their last six matches, only failing to score in two of their 13 matches at Griffin Park all season.

Sheffield Wednesday found some form in a 3-0 win at Nottingham Forest on Boxing Day, though, and beat Brentford 2-1 earlier in the season, so should score themselves.

Hull City v Fulham –

Previous evidence suggests that Hull’s 0-0 draw with Derby on Boxing Day was an anomaly.

The Tigers’ previous three home matches have finished 2-2, 2-3 and 3-2, with both teams scoring in all of their eight games at the KCOM Stadium prior to that stalemate.

And the visit of Fulham guarantees more entertainment.

Three of the Cottagers’ last four away games have produced goals at both ends, including a 5-4 and, most recently, 4-2 victory for the visitors.
