Newcastle not to beat Swansea –

Newcastle’s home form does not inspire confidence for the visit of Swansea on Saturday.

Rafa Benitez’s side only ended a five-match losing run at St James’ Park with an uninspiring 0-0 draw with Brighton at the end of December, the fifth home match in six in which they’ve failed to score.

Swansea won at Watford in their most recent league game, and secured a creditable 0-0 draw at Wolves in the FA Cup last weekend, and can continue their improvement under Carlos Carvalhal in this one.

Doncaster not to beat Plymouth –

Plymouth’s rapid ascent up League One continues to go under the radar, meaning they’re available at a very decent price to extend their unbeaten run this weekend.

Argyle have not lost any of their last seven matches, winning five, and have already secured points away at high-flying Blackburn and Bradford this season.

Doncaster have taken 10 points from their last four home games, though they all came against bottom-six sides, so this will prove much more of a test.

Real Madrid not to beat Villarreal –

Real Madrid’s struggles continued at Celta Vigo last week, as they conceded a fully-deserved late equaliser to drop further behind Barcelona in the title race.

Zinedine Zidane’s side have only won three of their last eight league matches, and improving that record will be far from straightforward against Villarreal.

Javier Calleja’s visitors have only lost one of their last six league away games, including a draw at second-place Atletico Madrid and win at third-place Valencia.

Atletico Madrid not to beat Eibar –

Atletico’s defeat at Espanyol in December was their first of the season, and a trip to seventh-place Eibar will prove no less difficult a task.

The hosts reeled off four straight home wins heading into the winter break, with Valencia among their victims.

They also held their esteemed visitors – who will be missing the suspended Diego Costa here – to a 2-2 draw in this fixture last season.
