We assess how our tips got on for the first weekend back after the Bundesliga restart.

Things got off to a great start with our Dortmund v Schalke #BetYourWay tips on Saturday.

Erling Haaland’s opener was enough to outscore Schalke and land a 2/1 tip, before Raphael Guerreiro netted at 15/4. There were also only four cards in the match, ensuring our pick of under 4.5 cards came in as well.

The only losing tip from the #BetYourWay was for Jadon Sancho to claim an assist, which was a little unlucky given that he only played 11 minutes at the end of the game.

Moving onto Frankfurt v Borussia Monchengladbach, we successfully tipped BTTS & over 2.5 goals and a goal to be scored between 76-90 minutes. We also tipped Frankfurt to win, although they were beaten 3-1 on a weekend that saw just one home side win.

The longest winning #BetYourWay of the weekend from a Betway customer came in this game, with over 2.5 Monchengladbach goals and over 3.5 Frankfurt cards landing at 20/1.

Elsewhere, we had winning tips for Cologne to win the first half of their game at home to Mainz at 7/5 and over 2.5 goals at 8/13. But their second-half capitulation from 2-0 up meant that the match result tip was a loser in that #BetYourWay.

Finally, we had a stinker in Union Berlin v Bayern Munich. Neither BTTS nor Sebastien Andersson to score came in, while the final result of 2-0 to Bayern Munich ensured a tip of over 3.5 goals also failed to land.
