Watch our special video that celebrates Betway's sponsorship renewal with West Ham

Sir Trevor Brooking sits down in a darkened room. So does club captain Mark Noble and his West Ham teammates Aaron Cresswell, Michail Antonio and Robert Snodgrass.

The only thing each person knows is that they're about to come face to face with a lifelong Hammers supporter.

But there’s a twist: Sir Trevor, Noble, Cresswell, Antonio and Snodgrass have each met their fan before while starring in one of the many popular content pieces Betway has produced with West Ham since becoming the club’s sponsor in 2015.

That raises two fascinating questions: does the player remember them? And, if so, what impact did the interaction have on the supporter’s life?

You’ll have to watch the heartwarming and emotional video, which was created to celebrate Betway and West Ham's sponsorship renewal, to find out.

When the fans first met their heroes

- Matt met Sir Trevor Brooking in 2015 when the Hammers legend made a surprise visit at a supporters’ club near the Boleyn Ground to hand out new home shirts as part of Betway’s #PrideInYourShirt campaign.

- Will met club skipper Mark Noble in 2016 when starring in the Sky Sports’ Betway Academy, a six-part series where Will's West Ham fan team received professional coaching from the club in preparation for playing one of the last ever matches at the Boleyn Ground.

- Stevo The Mad Man met Michail Antonio for the first time in 2017 when the Snapchat and Instagram sensation starred alongside the winger in Betway’s hilarious Gogglebox-inspired West Ham 16/17 season review.

 - Nathan met Aaron Cresswell in 2017 when they were paired together for an episode of Betway’s Supermarket Sweep, a laugh-out-loud gameshow that was hosted by Stevo The Madman.

- Josh met Robert Snodgrass in 2018 when he inadvertently starred in Betway’s Fan Taxi comedy prank. Josh thought he had won a Betway Twitter competition to have a tour of West Ham’s training ground. What he didn’t know was that his taxi driver, an affable Scot named 'Archie', was actually Snodgrass – his favourite player – in disguise!
