Everton head to the London Stadium in good form, having avoided defeat in each of their last five games in the Premier League.

The Toffees did, however, need a 95th-minute goal from Tom Davies to rescue a point at home to 10-man Southampton last Saturday.

Despite their recent run of results, Sam Allardyce’s side still have one of the weakest away records in the league, winning just three games on their travels all season and netting just 15 goals in 18 matches.

West Ham should be confident, then, of getting something from their last game of the season.

Only Burnley and Manchester City have beaten the Hammers in nine games at the London Stadium in 2018, and they’ve avoided defeat in their last two home matches against Everton.

Sunday’s game should be high-scoring.

West Ham had found the net in six successive Premier League games – a run that includes goals against Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester City – before their 0-0 draw with Manchester United on Thursday night.

Having found the net in eight of their last 10 matches at home, the Hammers should manage to rediscover their scoring form on Sunday.

Keeping a clean sheet will be difficult, however, against an Everton side that have only failed to get on the scoresheet in one of their last nine league matches.

As for who will score for the Hammers, this looks like a game for Marko Arnautovic.

Everton tend to struggle with pace, as the last six goals conceded by the Toffees have been scored by Eric Maxim Choupo-Maxim, Leroy Sane, Gabriel Jesus, Raheem Sterling, Jordan Ayew and Nathan Redmond.

Arnautovic is West Ham’s most potent attacking threat, and should add to his tally of 10 goals in his last 19 Premier League matches.
