Morocco to win or draw v Canada & BTTS: No

Morocco put themselves in a great position to qualify for the last 16 at a World Cup for the first time since 1986 with an impressive 2-0 win over Belgium in Matchday 2.

The Atlas Lions are unbeaten in their last seven games and have conceded just one goal during that run.

With a draw enough for them to progress against a Canada side with just one win in their last six, expect Walid Regragui’s side to get the job done.

Croatia to beat Belgium

Croatia recovered from going down early to secure an impressive 4-1 win over Canada in their second group game, and require just a point in this one to go through.

Zlatko Dalic’s side have been on an impressive run of form recently, going unbeaten in their last eight games in all competitions.

Belgium, meanwhile, were lucky to beat Canada in their opening game and looked poor in the 2-0 loss to Morocco that followed. Roberto Martinez’s side have now lost three of their last four games.

Germany to beat Costa Rica to nil

Germany responded to their 2-1 opening loss to Japan with an assured performance against Spain, with that 1-1 draw meaning they can secure their place in the last 16 with a win.

They do, however, need the other game in the group to go their way – a Japan win against Spain would send them home, barring a record-breaking victory here.

Die Mannschaft should do their bit against a Costa Rica side that beat Japan but were totally outclassed by Spain in Matchday 1.

Spain to beat Japan

Unfortunately for Japan, they were unable to follow up that famous win over Germany with a result against Costa Rica that would have all but secured their progress.

Only a win would guarantee their progress here, although a draw could be enough.

That will be hard to come by against a Spain team that have lost just one of their last 13 matches, including seven clean sheets.
