Croatia to win and under 2.5 goals v Morocco (10:00}

Croatia have won each of their last five matches, with three of those games ending 1-0.

Zlatko Dalic’s side did the double over Denmark and took four points off France in their Nations League campaign.

Three of Morocco’s last four matches came in at under 2.5 goals, while they scored just two in the 2018 World Cup.

BTTS & over 2.5 goals in Germany v Japan (13:00)

Japan were beaten 2-1 by Canada in their final warm-up match and will approach their group games with a positive mindset.

The Samurai Blue have scored four against Paraguay, six against Hong Kong and three against South Korea in matches since June.

BTTS has been a winner in five of Germany’s last six competitive matches, with their last three finishing 3-3, 0-1 and 5-2.

Spain to beat Costa Rica to nil (16:00)

This should be Spain’s easiest game of the World Cup by some distance.

Luis Enrique’s side are unbeaten in 10, winning seven, and have kept six clean sheets in that sequence.

Costa Rica are widely expected to be one of the most defence-minded teams at the tournament and have an ageing squad that still resembles the one from 2014.

Belgium to beat Canada (19:00)

Belgium have beaten Poland (twice) and Wales in their last five competitive matches and should have too much for Canada.

Roberto Martinez’s side don’t carry as much star quality as they did four years ago, but their superiority here is reflected in their price.

Canada are rank outsiders in this group and come into the World Cup having failed to beat Bahrain and Honduras in their last five.
